Anybody that has shared a coffee or a cocktail with me in the last month knows that a book has stolen my heart. It's changed a lot of the ways I do things and has helped me to not only dream bigger, but make the steps to turn those dreams into action. The http://www.theartistsway.com/
is incredible. It's gotten me back to basics and has inspired me to just DO the things I want to do...With that said, I've always really loved looking up quotes and using them in my day to day relationships, notes, emails, dream books, etc, etc...so why not incorporate them more into my photography and my blog. As much as I love images, words serve such a purpose. There's now a category on my blog called inspiration and before wedding season really takes off, I'm going to be filling this section up with quotes and inspiring tid-bits. Enough is enough, it's time to start doing the things I dream of doing. That's where renting a studio and giving it a whirl comes into play! The beautiful Lacey James was kind enough to come downtown on Saturday and look gorgeous as I start to get better in Studio. Hoping to do more and more of this type of thing.

Turns out, I may like taking headshots after all. I had a photo session with my dear friend, Bobby Gold, last week in Los Feliz and we had a ball. Here's a few of my favs. As always, the best shots come right after the shot you were trying to get.
