Had a so-so day today at work. And there is nothing more in this life I hate more than "so-so". My dad used to laugh at me when I was little and tell me "Sis, everyday can't be the superbowl!"  Ahh, I'm almost 25 and that's still my scariest reality. I just love the lights, the fireworks, the thrill and still have a little girl wish that everyday could be like that. Since that's not exactly the case, I'm striving to have a little spark of something special everyday. Since I struck out today, I'm throwing on some red lipgloss and trying my luck tonight. Keep moving people, keep dreaming.

As always, I admire your attitude Christin! Well said, even if you, um, borrowed that last bit. Your determination to follow your passion—I'm thinking of the drive to the studio-lights thing for example—will cancel-out those strikeouts that occur. Regarding studio lights, I started with one monolight, then added another, and now a third, as I get more comfortable with them. Still tons to learn though. They take up little space and they're not too expensive; buy one and play around! I'm not sure where my road is going, but without taking chances and throwing some curves into it, my journey would've continued to be a dull one for sure. Rock on!

Meet two of the most fabulous people I know. Emma Fizpatrick and Aaron Beaumont. When the retro-pop-duo asked me to do a shoot of them, we thought we'd do a simple shoot in a park somewhere. Little did we realize that by the time i got off work at 6:00 on Friday night, Griffith Park wasn't exactly the brightest place in LA. Somehow we ended up downtown at the Biltmore Hotel, which is filled with charm, gold & style. Pretty much all of which matchup with Emma and Aaron perfectly. They'll be releasing much of their new work next Friday night at Kiss Lounge in Hollywood.

I can't believe how much fun Ben & Kendra's wedding day at /www.postlewaits.com/ was. It was a little bit of a gray sky the entire day and I don't know how, but the moment they were announced Mr. and Mrs. Blosser the sun poked out of the clouds - it was pretty amazing how it just started shining right then. You guys have an awesome life ahead of you & both have the greatest personalities. I had a ball with you and your families!! Here's a sneak peak of your day and you'll have the rest soon. Congratulations!!

It was one of those early fall days in Oregon when the sun shines perfectly. Actually, I can hardly explain it but it felt like time stopped for this celebration. Lifetime friends gathered in Lake Oswego to celebrate a new chapter in Wendy & Dick's life. With a Cuban theme; drums were played all afternoon, cabana hats were worn & sweet cocktails were served.

The beautiful blonde you see below - that's the bride, Wendy. In spending a weekend with her I can safely say that she is the type of person that reminds you to give more, smile bigger, laugh harder, & take little for granted. She just has that infectious attitude that makes you want to always be around her. Hmmm, maybe that's why Dick went for her? ; ) The truth is Dick & Wendy won the lottery by meeting one another later in life. The afternoon was all joy and I have no doubt that the rest of their lives are going to follow suit.

Here's a sneak peak of the photos.

I think that Anina's maid-of-honor put it best in her speech when she said, "And then all of a sudden your entire life changes in an instant." I know, I'm such a hopeless romantic at times, but that gave me chills. After growing up just miles away from each other - Nat and Anina met on a sunny day at Coachella music festival and well, pretty much the rest is history.

They are two of the kindest people you'll ever meet & their wedding was a ball - just a time to celebrate with all of their family and friends. It was held at the http://www.adamsonhouse.org/ in Malibu, which sits right on the ocean. I can't really imagine a more beautiful setting or a more stunning bride!! Pretty much that's all anyone was talking about at the reception...how gorgeous Anina looked.

I hope you're travels have been wonderful guys. This is just a sneak peak, but all of your photos will be waiting for you when you return.
